Join Vivo Energy as a Financial Inventory Controller on a fixed-term contract and play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory management processes. In this position, you will oversee inventory levels, control systems, and business processes to ensure the accuracy of financial records and minimize stock losses. You will report directly to the Financial Inventory Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring Inventory Accounting Records
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory accounting records, ensuring timely goods receipting and management of in-transit inventory.
- Manage the EDI inbox for up-to-date information.
- Conduct inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and manage unfulfilled product orders.
- Prepare month-end accruals for outstanding EDI messages and unprocessed physical inventory movements in SAP.
- Maintain and update the Material Master for bulk products while preparing regular reports to enhance operational efficiency and reduce stock losses.
- Investigate and resolve analytical inventory queries and adjust inventory levels as necessary.
Business Process Oversight
- Support and monitor business processes through monthly summaries and analysis of inventory movements.
- Analyze gains, losses, frequency, and trends in inventory stock counts and postings.
- Assist with changes in depot operations and ensure effective communication with relevant parties.
- Timely capture shipping loads and discharges in SAP and create associated sales and purchase orders for transactions.
- Update SAP pricing and generate necessary export billing documentation.
Customer Liaison
- Act as a liaison to customers and stakeholders, including external auditors, ensuring smooth communication and compliance with processes.
