Your Role As a Harvest Technician, you will play an essential role in our cultivation department by supporting the post-harvest operations. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and processing the harvest for flower sales and oil extraction. Given the heavily regulated nature of the cannabis industry, adherence to safety and compliance regulations is mandatory for all employees. Key Responsibilities Engage in the cannabis harvesting process, which includes harvesting plants, sanitizing flower rooms for the next growth cycle, reloading flower rooms, and managing cannabis materials and waste. Ensure proper drying of wet cannabis plants. Precisely weigh and document post-harvest materials. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), direct instructions, training protocols, and organizational policies while performing job duties. Safety & Compliance Remain vigilant to hazards in the workplace. Understand and retain training specific to your department. Report any safety incidents or concerns and comply with follow-up actions. Ensure compliance with safety requirements, state regulations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), biosecurity, sanitation standards, and other quality compliance requirements. Maintain accurate record-keeping as directed by supervisors. Calibrate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery as instructed. Report and escalate any safety or quality concerns. Working Conditions The role requires frequent reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Candidates must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods while maintaining focus. Ability to lift, carry, and balance items weighing up to 50 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance) with care and caution. Work in environments with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees and humidity levels up to 70% for extended periods. Must be comfortable working at heights.
