Our innovative technology enables subscribers of mobile network operators to send and receive text messages from space, utilizing standard, unmodified mobile devices. Lynk's services have been extensively tested across all seven continents and are recognized with regulatory approvals in over 30 countries. We are currently deploying our service commercially through more than 40 contracts with mobile network operators across approximately 50 countries.
Our mission is to connect all 8 billion people globally through the standard phones they already possess, ensuring they can stay connected everywhere, regardless of circumstances.
By joining Lynk, you will play a crucial role in transforming lives on a massive scale, aiming to bring mobile broadband access to billions, alleviate poverty for hundreds of millions, and save countless lives.
Job Summary
As a GNC Engineer at Lynk, you will be integral to the analysis, design, implementation, optimization, and enhancement of the attitude determination and control systems (ADCS) for our satellite constellation. Your contributions will include developing satellite ADCS system designs, crafting flight codes and algorithms, evaluating ADCS components like sensors and effectors, and conducting comprehensive hardware-in-the-loop simulations to analyze satellite dynamics. You'll also be responsible for designing lab test environments to facilitate the development and testing of ADCS.
Core Responsibilities
Your role will encompass various engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
- Advance Lynk's satellite ADCS architecture, focusing on systems that provide both relative and absolute attitude measurements.
- Refine the Concept of Operations for satellite attitude determination and control systems and associated ground systems.
- Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team to shape constellation and network architecture based on ADCS performance metrics.
- Support the development of the six degrees of freedom (6 DOF) simulation for evaluating the attitude determination and control systems.
- Conduct analyses to assess the performance requirements of satellite ADCS components, focusing on characteristics such as sizing, accuracy, sensor noise, reliability, redundancy, and fault management strategies.
