Our Head of AI brings over a decade of research experience from MIT and Caltech, and our Head of Engineering played a pivotal role in Figma’s early development.
Your Role: Founding Regional Sales Manager - Dermatology
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Sales Cycle Management: Take charge of the entire sales process, from initial outreach to private practices and private equity-backed groups, conducting technical demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and securing deals. This role is not just about selling software; it's about facilitating a financial revolution.
- Consultative Revenue Cycle Management: Act as a trusted advisor, identifying financial inefficiencies within practices (e.g., high denial rates, under-coding) and presenting our software as the optimal solution. You will need to communicate ROI in terms of metrics such as 'days in A/R' and 'net collection ratio.'
- Customer Feedback Integration: Collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to relay customer insights concerning payer-specific regulations, integration challenges (e.g., ModMed/EMA API concerns), and feature requests to influence our development roadmap.
Technological Proficiency:
- Sales Tools: Familiarity with platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo for outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is essential.
- Dermatology Software Knowledge: Deep understanding of the dermatology ecosystem, particularly tools like ModMed (EMA), Nextech, and EzDerm.
- Billing and RCM Tools: Knowledge of clearinghouses (such as Availity and Waystar) and coding tools (CPT/ICD-10) is crucial.
- Work Environment: Thrive in a dynamic, remote-first startup culture, utilizing tools like Slack, Zoom, and Notion.
Work Approach:
- Process Ownership: Ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation, guaranteeing that practices experience the financial uplift we promise.
- Agile Methodology: Employ an agile, iterative approach to testing value propositions, adapting pitches based on market feedback.
