Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG), a prominent field data collection company established in 2017, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Chur, Switzerland. Our mission is to gather essential data in regions where automation falls short. We meticulously count features, capture images, produce videos, record audio, and scan environments, empowering our clients to make informed decisions.Project OverviewAs a Driver / Data Collector, your primary responsibility will be to traverse designated routes in Chur and surrounding areas, documenting streets, points of interest, and public spaces. Equipped with specialized vehicles featuring 360-degree cameras, you will capture high-quality images of the surroundings. This data contributes to enhancing one of the world's leading online mapping services.This project will span 3 to 6 months, targeting various data collection locations, including commercial districts and historical landmarks. Depending on weather conditions, you may revisit certain areas to ensure the best possible image quality. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys driving, is familiar with local traffic patterns, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility and reliability.The expected working schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day, totaling 40 hours per week. Weekend work may be required occasionally due to weather-related delays.

With teams operating across Europe and North America, we embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.About the ProjectThis initiative focuses on collecting high-quality visual data of streets, notable landmarks, and public spaces throughout EU nations. Drivers will operate vehicles equipped with advanced 360° cameras and lidar technology to capture detailed imagery of the environment. The data collected will be securely stored on onboard SSD Drives and utilized to improve one of the leading online mapping services globally.Data collectors will adhere to designated routes, concentrating on public thoroughfares, commercial districts, and points of interest. To guarantee optimal image quality, certain locations may require revisits during ideal weather conditions.The project duration will vary depending on the specific data collection needs of each area, with typical assignments lasting between 3 to 6 months.Work Schedule: Full-time with working hours from 8 AM to 7 PM.Recruitment Process: Candidates will undergo a safety driving assessment, a recruiter interview, and a comprehensive onboarding process.
