JOB DETAILSDaily Salary: $513Work Schedule: Monday to FridayRotating Shifts every 2 weeks: Day: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM - Night: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AMDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn before entering the plant.Attend daily safety meetings.Inspect pending pieces at the workbench, noting quantity and type of parts.Position the piece at the bench using hoists or cranes as necessary.Regularly check the torch for cleanliness, cleaning it if it is contaminated with grease using pointed pliers to remove burrs and prevent blockage.Weld missing parts and flip the piece using the crane or hoist to weld the opposite side.Repair any defects on the piece (pores) on both sides using air arc and carbon rod, then clean the piece with a pneumatic hammer and re-weld.Polish areas of the piece with errors, such as excess welding, using a polisher and clean the piece with a pneumatic hammer.Manually replace the welding roll when it runs out.Mark completed pieces using a punch with the initials or code of the welder.Organize finished pieces using the hoist or crane at the designated area.Implement the 5S methodology in the workspace: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.Act as a substitute crane operator to supply parts to welders and painters.Participate in Kaizen or continuous improvement events.
