Role Overview
The Patient Care Technician Program Director leads the direction and quality of UMA’s Patient Care Technician program. This position manages program development, delivery, and evaluation to ensure the curriculum meets UMA’s mission and academic standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Program Design and Evaluation: Guide the creation, launch, and ongoing review of the Patient Care Technician program to uphold high educational standards.
- Curriculum Development: Update and adjust course content to reflect current industry practices and requirements.
- Faculty Management: Hire, train, and support instructors to foster strong teaching and learning outcomes.
- Student Support: Advise and mentor students as they progress academically and prepare for their careers.
- Accreditation and Compliance: Verify that all aspects of the program meet accreditation criteria and regulatory requirements.
