Position Overview:As a Pipeline Technician, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our pipeline systems, ensuring optimal gas quality and performance. This position involves hands-on management of gas transmission pipelines and associated facilities in the Cotulla and Freer, TX areas. Your expertise will be applied to various equipment, including reciprocating compressors, ultrasonic gas meters, gas chromatographs, and control valves, among others.Key Responsibilities:Operate engines and equipment to maintain specified operational parameters.Conduct pipeline locator duties.Ensure efficient performance of engines and related equipment.Manage pipeline pigging processes and maintain valves and pipelines.Coordinate maintenance activities for all facilities and equipment.Operate and repair vehicles and field equipment.Oversee third-party construction and maintenance activities.Perform compliance inspections and government-required activities.Assist in financial management, including cost control and budget forecasting.Contribute to the development of operational procedures and work plans.Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate documentation.Perform maintenance and calibration of gas measurement equipment.Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.Be available for travel, including nights and weekends, as needed.Provide relief coverage for pipeline control duties when necessary.Other related tasks as assigned.
