What You Will Do In this role, the Despatch Line Leader manages a team in a chilled environment, ensuring the despatch line runs smoothly and safely. The focus is on meeting operational targets while maintaining strict food safety and health & safety standards. Main Responsibilities Lead and motivate the despatch team to meet daily goals. Oversee accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of all orders. Maintain thorough paperwork and uphold compliance requirements. Track performance against KPIs and labor plans. Identify and report operational issues or discrepancies quickly. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations. Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives on the despatch line. Who We’re Looking For This position suits someone who enjoys leading by example and thrives in a busy production environment. Essential Qualifications Background in a production or despatch line setting. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven ability to manage or supervise a small team. Desirable Qualifications Food Safety Level 2 certification. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Skills and Attributes Strong leadership and team-building skills. Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. This position calls for someone who takes ownership, notices problems before they become issues, and keeps production running smoothly.
