We also encourage you to refer any colleagues or friends who might be interested in similar positions.Kindly provide the following information as soon as possible:- Availability/Notice period:- Current Location:- Total Experience:- Relevant Skill Experience (Years):- Current Salary:- Expected Pay Rate:- Nationality/Visa:- Willingness to work in Crawley, England (Yes/No):________________________________________Job Description:Role: Application PackagerLocation: Crawley, EnglandJob Type: Contract (3 Months)Client: NIIT TechnologiesResponsibilities:• Collaborate closely with the DSM and Infrastructure Lead to fulfill all application packaging requirements.• Create comprehensive documentation and technical guides for systems, including design specifications.• Package and deploy enterprise-level applications.• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.• Engage with in-house teams (Storage, Networks, VMware) and third-party vendors at a technical level, both proactively and reactively.• Remotely integrate applications into the client’s standard desktops/laptops by packaging in formats such as AppV, THIN APP, or MSI and deploying using SCCM 2007/2012.Requirements:• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in application sequencing using AppV (preferably v5.1).• Strong knowledge of MSI Packaging through Install Shield and AdminStudio.• Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell are essential.• Extensive experience with SCCM 2007/2012, particularly in application deployment.• Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems and their architectures (both 32-bit and 64-bit).Qualifications and Experience:• Proven experience in AppV and MSI packaging.• Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 7, Server 2008, and 2012.• Familiarity with Group Policy and its effect on application control.• Experience with programming tools such as PowerShell and VB Scripting.• Deployment experience using the AppV Full Infrastructure.• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.• Understanding of Microsoft User Environment Virtualization.

Our support covers a range of equipment from payment terminals to EPOS and Head Office Solutions across forecourt, retail, and office environments. The service division is organized into Install and Maintenance teams, currently offering on-site support between 7am and 8pm.The Field Service Maintenance Engineers work 9-hour shifts, operating on a six-day-on, three-day-off schedule, with shifts rotating between early (7am-4pm) and late (11am-8pm). Shift patterns may adjust based on business needs. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract position.
