With the increasing demand for offshore wind farms, interconnectors, and HVDC export systems, we seek an accomplished Senior Cable Engineer / Cable Advisor to enhance our dynamic UK team.This is a hands-on advisory role where your expertise will directly impact project safety, execution quality, and strategic decision-making for top-tier developers, contractors, and owners worldwide.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Cable Advisor, you will serve as a trusted technical authority throughout the entire cable installation lifecycle, aiding clients from the planning stages to execution.You will:Deliver technical advisory services on subsea cable and pipeline installation projects.Evaluate and critique contractor installation methodologies, risk assessments, and operational procedures.Recognize installation risks and recommend effective, experience-driven mitigation strategies.Assist clients with marine operations safety, feasibility, and adherence to industry best practices.Integrate lessons learned from prior projects to enhance future execution.Engage confidently with clients, contractors, insurers, and regulatory authorities.Contribute to internal knowledge development and mentoring within Primo Marine.About YouYou are a senior professional who combines extensive offshore cable expertise with exceptional communication skills and sound judgement.You possess:12+ years of experience in offshore cable and/or pipeline installation.A robust background in subsea power cables (export/inter-array/HVDC) and marine operations.Engineering-level education or equivalent professional experience.Demonstrated experience in reviewing installation methodologies and managing offshore risks.A capacity to work autonomously while actively contributing to a collaborative team environment.A calm, organized approach to complex project challenges.
