This position is crucial for monitoring production progress, mitigating supply chain risks, and acting as the primary point of contact between our business and suppliers to safeguard program schedules and maintain product integrity.Key Responsibilities:Schedule & Production Oversight• Monitor supplier manufacturing progress against committed schedules.• Track critical milestones including machining, assembly, inspection, and shipment.• Identify potential delays, capacity constraints, or material shortages.• Initiate corrective actions to recover timelines.Supplier Performance Monitoring• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements.• Verify that production processes are in line with approved documentation.• Confirm readiness prior to shipment.• Provide structured reporting on supplier health and risk levels.Quality & Compliance Interface• Support the monitoring of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100).• Witness inspections or critical production steps as necessary.• Escalate quality non-conformances or process deviations.• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams.Risk Identification & Escalation• Proactively identify supply chain risks related to capacity, workforce, tooling, and materials.• Communicate risk exposures to program leadership.
