Role overview
The Chief Marketing Officer leads Speed Bay’s marketing strategy, shaping how the company is perceived by institutional Limited Partners, private wealth platforms, and the wider market. This role builds the brand, defines investor positioning, manages digital presence, and oversees creative direction. The CMO’s work supports fundraising and firm-building initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand and marketing strategies for a growing, institutionally backed real estate investment platform
- Oversee all marketing functions, including digital, creative, and investor communications
- Craft clear, persuasive narratives about complex investment offerings for institutional and high-net-worth audiences
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns comply with applicable regulatory standards, including FINRA guidelines
- Enhance the firm’s market presence to support fundraising and business development
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in marketing for an institutional asset manager or investment products business serving institutional and high-net-worth channels
- Strategic thinker able to translate complex investment concepts into accessible messaging
- Experience with FINRA marketing standards is required
- Background in real estate investment products, 1031 exchange offerings, or non-traded REITs is a strong plus
