Job PurposeThe Packaging Supervisor plays a critical role in managing daily packaging operations, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards and production objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee packaging line activities to ensure alignment with production schedules and performance goals.Uphold compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene regulations.Lead and mentor packaging team members to foster productivity and operational efficiency.Collaborate with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse teams for seamless operations.Monitor equipment performance and communicate any maintenance requirements.Maintain precise production records and reports for accountability.Identify and implement process improvements to minimize waste.

Lead and manage the spare parts procurement team to achieve operational objectives.Formulate and execute effective procurement strategies for spare parts to enhance maintenance and production processes.Assess and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, availability, and delivery conditions.Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable conditions.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of purchase orders and maintain optimal spare parts inventory levels.Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and inventory teams to accurately forecast and plan spare parts needs.Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or service standards.Maintain precise records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance metrics.Adhere to company procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.Analyze procurement data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and improve overall efficiency.Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for procurement team members.
