Key ResponsibilitiesOpen and close the site daily, ensuring full control of site access, security, and readiness.Oversee daily site activities and ensure subcontractors adhere to safety protocols and the construction schedule.Conduct and facilitate weekly subcontractor meetings to sustain project momentum.Collaborate closely with the appointed Health & Safety consultant to maintain the Construction Phase Plan (CPP) and Health & Safety documentation.Provide daily activity briefings and site inductions, ensuring all records and compliance documents are accurately maintained.Manage site logistics, including deliveries, traffic control, and material storage.Update Quality Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to guarantee all work meets project specifications and quality standards.Maintain a daily site diary documenting visitors, key decisions, deliveries, weather conditions, and any incidents.Serve as the primary contact for the client’s Estates team, ensuring clear communication and responsiveness.Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.Maintain a professional and respectful presence on-site, minimizing disruptions to hospital operations, staff, patients, and visitors.Adhere to the organization’s management systems and QHSES responsibilities as defined in company documentation.
