We are seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Biochemist with a robust background in bio-conjugation, who excels in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting. In this role, you will lead biotechnology research within a multidisciplinary team of chemists and physicists, driving the development and commercialization of innovative products for our customers. Collaboration with external partners on specialized projects, identifying scientific and market opportunities, and contributing to our strategic direction are key aspects of this position. This role combines scientific leadership with project management and strategic decision-making, providing an exceptional opportunity to influence Magnostics' R&D and product initiatives.What Will You Do?Oversee and execute daily activities, ensuring high-quality experimental execution while upholding ISO/GMP compliance within Magnostics Ltd.Lead and manage R&D projects focused on the development and optimization of advanced bio-conjugation techniques for biomolecules attached to nanomagnetic beads, including product characterization and validation for advanced therapeutic applications.Supervise laboratory operations and staff, ensuring a compliant and efficient work environment.Ensure that quality control documentation, batch records, and standard operating procedures adhere to ISO 13485 and GMP standards, including the design and validation of analytical methods, workflows, and QC protocols.Collaborate with the CEO, CSO, R&D team, and external scientific advisors as needed for KOL engagement and product advancement.Provide scientific contributions for grant proposals, fundraising efforts, and business plan development in partnership with the commercial team and CEO.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within laboratory practices and quality systems.What Will You Bring?MSc/PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.Demonstrable experience with bio-conjugation techniques and a strong understanding of nanomagnetic technologies.
