Job Function:The Plastics Market Sales Engineer is a remote, full-time, outside sales role tailored for candidates located in the Austin, TX area. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth within your designated market region. As a Sales Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in market trends, applications, products, and sales strategies to collaborate effectively with customers, management, and various internal departments. Your goal will be to provide tailored quick-mold-change and fluid-connector solutions that address specific customer needs.Reports to:Head of Business, Plastics Market, North AmericaKey Responsibilities:Implement and execute the market strategy effectively.Operate independently within your assigned territory while fostering collaboration with teammates across North America and globally, recognizing that the Plastics business depends on teamwork across regions.Develop an annual budget roadmap, revisited quarterly, to meet sales targets.Establish weekly call plans focused on open offers, opportunities, leads, target accounts, and prospecting, aiming for an average of 20-24 customer visits per month.Engage in onsite customer visits to strengthen relationships, identify and analyze needs, propose solutions and innovative ideas, and communicate value propositions using Strategic Selling techniques.Prepare and present engaging presentations, demos, and workshops, including ROI calculations to demonstrate value.Enhance relationships with existing customers while seeking out and prospecting new clients.Negotiate and close offers while managing complaints and objections effectively.Maintain a comprehensive CRM database for companies, customer profiles, contacts, opportunities, offers, and daily activity reporting.Coordinate with Management, Engineering, and Production Units to ensure all relevant information is communicated to appropriate Stäubli divisions and colleagues.Identify solutions, develop proposals, and create offers that meet customer requirements.Stay updated with Stäubli products and recognize product development opportunities while sharing competitive intelligence.Conduct market and customer trend analysis and create forecasts.Participate in weekly planning and review calls with team and management.Attend team and international sales meetings, workshops, and seminars.Engage in marketing initiatives such as planning exhibitions, conferences, open houses, and customer testimonials.Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional literature, and networking.Conduct business with professionalism, prioritizing the company's interests and welfare.Perform any other duties as assigned and adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
