Your responsibilities will ensure that our engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners and vendors adhere to the highest standards of safety, licensing, quality, constructability, and lifecycle performance.In this capacity, you will act as the owner's representative, facilitating the integration of civil design across various project components, including the nuclear island, balance-of-plant, site infrastructure, and regulatory submissions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Oversight & Technical Assurance:Conduct reviews and approvals of civil and structural deliverables from EPC and design partners, including foundations, seismic designs, reinforced concrete structures, and site works.Ensure all work aligns with reference plant requirements, site conditions, and applicable codes and standards.Oversee compliance with nuclear standards, including seismic category design and safety-related structures.Provide critical input on RFIs, design changes, and configuration management.Regulatory & Licensing Support:Assist in the preparation of licensing documentation, such as inputs for Safety Analysis Reports.Ensure civil analyses conform to nuclear regulatory expectations regarding safety and seismic performance.Engage in regulatory meetings, audits, and technical discussions as the civil subject matter expert (SME).Construction Readiness & Field Support:Support construction readiness processes and provide field support as necessary.
