The Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy (ELSA) is a distinguished four-year certificate program dedicated to supporting students with disabilities. We are currently inviting applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach two (2) Community & Citizenship courses:
- ELS 031-86 Community & Citizenship: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:15-10:20 AM, commencing on August 31, 2026. This course emphasizes the development of critical thinking, effective communication, and writing skills while exploring community engagement and citizenship issues. Students will be encouraged to seek volunteer opportunities within their local communities.
- ELS 031-85 Community & Citizenship: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:15-10:20 AM, commencing on February 1, 2027. This course will also focus on critical thinking and communication skills in relation to community and citizenship, with students advocating for volunteer positions in their communities.
Ideal candidates for the ELSA Adjunct Instructor position are collaborative, passionate about higher education, and eager to work with students of diverse abilities.
