Elmhurst University is excited to invite applications for a graduate assistantship position within the Women's Basketball program for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the possibility of renewal for the 2027-2028 academic year. This role is intended for students enrolled in a graduate program at Elmhurst University. Candidates must apply for admission to a degree-granting graduate program at elmhurst.edu/graduatestudies and secure acceptance prior to being considered for the assistantship.
As a graduate assistant, you may qualify for a full tuition waiver in exchange for 20 hours of service per week. Additionally, a bi-weekly stipend will be provided to support your educational journey. Assistantships are required to be fulfilled during the Fall and Spring semesters, and participation during the January and/or Summer terms may also be necessary.
Eligible Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration, M. A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Weekly Service Requirement: 20 hours
Tuition Waiver: Full
Stipend: $5,625 per academic year, paid monthly at $625 from September through May.
Terms of Employment: Fall 2026, January 2027, and Spring 2027; renewable for the 2027-2028 academic year.
Assistantship Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in the planning, organization, and evaluation of all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s basketball program.
- Support the recruitment of student-athletes who embody the values and excellence of Elmhurst University.

Offers for this position are contingent upon acceptance into one of the eligible graduate programs at Elmhurst University. Graduate assistants must maintain full-time enrollment in their graduate program to retain their assistantship. Adherence to all NCAA and CCIW regulations is mandatory, including full cooperation in matters related to compliance and reporting of any potential violations.
