About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a profound impact in the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your work will involve applying evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social skills, and daily living skills, while also addressing and minimizing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are not just passionate, but also patient and compassionate, and who thrive in a collaborative team setting.
No prior experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the tools you need to succeed. However, the role requires a strong physical capacity, including the ability to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, and carry children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Working with children can be unpredictable and requires resilience and spirit.
Every day, you will leave knowing you have made a significant difference in a child's life and their family. If you are ready to join a passionate team that is committed to changing lives for the better, apply now to start your journey!
