This position requires compliance with relevant regulations and adherence to the department's safety program.Essential Functions:Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner.Perform maintenance on production machines and other facility equipment.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, reporting findings to management.Complete work orders and maintain the maintenance tracking system.Identify and recommend solutions for electrical issues, utilizing knowledge of drives and PLCs.Ensure machine productivity and quality are maintained post-repair, during changeovers, and following extended downtime.Manage inventory of repair equipment and supplies.Respond swiftly to safety concerns that may risk employee injury, addressing immediate dangers.Maintain safety and appearance of the facility, including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbing.Communicate current and potential issues to group leaders and the maintenance manager.Perform additional related duties as assigned.
