Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesOptimize and maintain real-time control systems to ensure maximum availability and compliance with safety standards. Lead system upgrades, migrations, and future-proofing initiatives, creating functional specifications and technical documentation. Collaborate with Operations, Security, and Engineering teams to investigate incidents and propose system modifications, producing reports for stakeholders. Diagnose and swiftly resolve complex technical issues to minimize operational disruptions. Provide second-line technical support during major outages and complex challenges, working closely with colleagues and suppliers. Conduct system administration tasks, including backups, security management, and configuration control. Deliver training and technical support to engineering, maintenance, and operations teams. Oversee subcontractors and consultants to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Participate in audits and safety inspections, managing maintenance support contracts for critical applications. Comply with Health & Safety and operational procedures, reporting incidents and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture. Qualifications and ExperienceA degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience. Experience in control systems administration, maintenance, or development, preferably in safety-critical or transport environments. Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), server administration, networking, Active Directory, VMware, and programming. Experience in system migration, project delivery, and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams and external partners. Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus.
