A reputable plaintiff-focused law firm located in Forest Hills, NY, is in search of a skilled Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in managing personal injury cases. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting attorneys throughout the entire case lifecycle. This position is fully on-site, and candidates must be able to commute reliably to the firm’s office five days a week. We seek an individual who exhibits exceptional organizational skills, independence, and a solid understanding of contemporary legal software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee personal injury cases from initial intake through to resolution.
Draft comprehensive medical summaries, discovery responses, pleadings, and settlement documents.
Maintain and update case progress within Filevine (experience with Lead Docket is a plus).
Facilitate communication with clients, medical offices, and insurance representatives.
Coordinate scheduling of EBTs, IMEs, mediations, and court events.
Prepare attorneys for depositions and any trial-related requirements.
Identify and address workflow issues to ensure cases remain on schedule.
