Role overview The Professional Surveyor & Mapper oversees all phases of survey and mapping projects. Responsibilities include managing project activities, preparing and reviewing documentation, and building strong relationships with clients. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and contributing to marketing and business development efforts. Main responsibilities Direct and manage survey and mapping projects. Prepare and review survey documentation for accuracy and compliance. Communicate with clients to ensure project requirements are met. Mentor junior team members and support their development. Assist with marketing and business development initiatives. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in surveying and mapping. Experience supervising field crews and office technicians. Proficiency in boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, design surveys, construction staking, platting, and title commitments. Strong project management skills, including scheduling and client communication. Team-oriented approach; prior field experience is a plus. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work on a variety of project types. Active Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper license, or eligibility to obtain one. Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
