Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage patient cases by answering clinical and program-related queries.
- Coordinate therapy access through healthcare providers.
- Schedule and conduct follow-ups based on individual patient needs.
- Facilitate access to support services like reimbursement counseling and nursing hotlines.
- Process incoming enrollment forms efficiently.
- Follow up via phone, mail, or fax for any missing enrollment information.
- Support payer research and maintain healthcare policy documentation.
- Identify alternative healthcare coverage options for patients using the PayerPlus database.
- Perform related duties as assigned, demonstrating effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computers and standard office equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
- Basic understanding of payer eligibility and benefits, along with healthcare research skills.
- Ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
