Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:• Responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of various information security platforms, systems, and applications. This role requires hands-on support across a diverse range of technologies.• Conduct internal security risk assessments, evaluate third-party business partners, and perform in-depth security assessments on a variety of technologies including directory services, database platforms, operating systems, programming languages, web services, firewalls, remote access solutions, messaging platforms, encryption technologies, wireless devices, and both internally and externally hosted applications.• Ensure alignment with the company's operational principles by establishing effective and pragmatic information security controls. Analyze, define, implement, and manage efficient business processes related to information security programs while actively participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).• Stay informed about current and emerging security, compliance, and technical trends. Identify existing and potential vulnerabilities, collaborating with leaders to develop risk remediation strategies and track the outcomes and timelines of these initiatives.• Work alongside the information security management team to uphold and enhance compliance with HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, and internal controls. Investigate security incidents, support audit processes, and assist in crafting effective Management Action Plans in response to audit findings.• Advocate for security best practices by fostering awareness and ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.• Employ project management methodologies to initiate, oversee, and conclude multiple projects concurrently. Maintain comprehensive documentation relevant to projects and information security.• Mentor and cross-train junior team members, lead meetings, and build strong partnerships across various departments to facilitate vendor support engagements.
