About the job
Worldgrid is expanding its capabilities in providing advanced network management systems, particularly in the electrical sector, by enhancing its SCADA ADMS solution.
To achieve this, we are strengthening our product and project teams.
The Database Modeling Analyst will be involved in projects and products to enhance data models and evolve software version migration tools, as well as data import processes.
This role also contributes to the successful execution of data-related software upgrades.
The key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing existing data architectures, particularly those from industrial supervision environments such as SCADA;
- Identifying, mapping, and documenting data flows essential for migration to an internal application (Lynx);
- Sharing knowledge of data modeling with the future team you will join;
- Defining strategies for data retrieval, transformation, and integration into the new information system;
- Designing and modeling database structures tailored to business needs and technical constraints, ensuring performance, suggesting potential enhancements, and maintaining the database;
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity during migration operations;
- Developing and optimizing queries and procedures (PostgreSQL) necessary for data exploitation;
- Serving as a technical reference on data modeling, management, and architecture issues;
- Documenting modeling and data management standards to ensure consistency of data architectures within the information system;
- Participating in defining the overall architecture of data flows between Lynx + SCADA systems, databases, and business applications;
