Star Utsav reigns as the leading channel in the FTA Hindi general entertainment space, boasting over 35% of viewership share. The northern market is pivotal for our FTA Hindi GEC cluster, which includes Star Utsav and Colors Rishtey. With the business's expansive scale and growth trajectory, this role is crucial for managing and enhancing advertiser relationships in the region. The FTA television advertising sector is witnessing steady growth, driven by robust reach in mass markets and increasing interest from both traditional and emerging advertisers. To seize this opportunity, we seek passionate, results-oriented sales professionals with strong market relationships, agency connections, and client access. Your contribution will be vital in amplifying our presence in the North and accelerating revenue growth for the FTA GEC portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for revenue targets for key accounts within the Entertainment Business in your designated industry. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue potential while positioning Jiostar as the premier choice for digital investments.
You will serve as Jiostar’s representative in the market for the accounts you manage. An in-depth understanding of India's digital ecosystem and staying updated with industry trends and innovations will be essential, along with demonstrating a strong grasp of Jiostar’s advertising solutions and capabilities.
You will be responsible for maintaining a robust sales pipeline regularly, proactively addressing any obstacles, and upholding high standards in sales processes.
Managing stakeholder relationships from end to end with minimal supervision will be part of your responsibilities. You will also act as a strategic advisor on brand solutions to drive business outcomes.
Your role will involve fostering deeper client interactions to create case studies, conduct client interviews, execute joint business plans, and maintain monthly run rates.
Collaboration with the cross-functional ads revenue team will be essential for conceptualizing and executing all deals pertaining to your accounts.
