Your responsibilities will encompass stock monitoring, evaluation of kit utility, predictive analysis, and collaboration with finance and procurement teams alongside section heads and the laboratory manager.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the management and coordination of laboratory materials.Process purchase orders for laboratory supplies efficiently.Regularly generate comprehensive reports detailing materials and reagents utilized across all sections.Conduct analysis on discrepancies regarding reagent and material utilization.Assess material efficiency by comparing total consumption against sales volumes.Monitor testing processes, design cost-saving measures per test, and provide monthly updates to the finance department regarding product mapping.Investigate excess material usage and provide explanations across departments.Perform random checks on materials used by laboratory staff, identify errors, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Evaluate risks associated with the material management process.Compile overtime checks and weekly attendance reports for the laboratory to be submitted to the lab manager.Maintain accurate records for quality audits, including both internal and external (ISO) evaluations.
