Role overview
This role sits at the heart of the sales team. The Senior Account Manager works closely with other account managers and internal departments, always looking for new market opportunities and responding to inquiries as they arise. The environment is lively and requires someone who can keep a clear overview, translate commercial plans into practical steps, and help the team adapt as needed.
Collaboration with the Commercial Director is central to the role, ensuring that strategic objectives become part of daily operations. The Senior Account Manager also spends time in the market, expanding relationships and spotting areas for growth. Connecting people and focusing on results and team development are essential parts of this job.
What you will do
- Maintain and strengthen existing partnerships
- Onboard new partners in the intermediary market
- Drive production, portfolio growth, and profitability
- Bring focus and structure to daily sales activities
- Initiate and follow through on commercial actions
- Stay visible in the market, acting as the eyes and ears for Hiltermann
- Promote effective teamwork, encourage use of systems like Salesforce, and help ensure all products are successfully sold (including Financial Lease, Equipment Lease, and consumer financing)
Requirements
- HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of thinking and working
- Solid background in account management and sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take ownership, maintain oversight, and inspire colleagues
