Key Responsibilities:
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will work as part of a two-person team, where your duties will vary daily. While you will be responsible for driving, please note that this role involves significantly more manual handling than driving. On average, you will handle up to 15 customer deliveries per day, which includes the installation of products in our customers’ homes. Be prepared for occasional demanding days, especially during store changes. Please be aware that approximately 30% of your time will be spent driving, while the remaining 70% will involve manual handling tasks.
Candidate Profile:
· Hard-working: Willing to work late and assist team members when needed.
· Excellent customer service skills: You will be the final representative from DFS our customers interact with in their homes.
· Capable of manual handling: You may need to carry products up multiple flights of stairs or disassemble items for delivery.
· Flexible with tasks: You will assist in the warehouse after completing delivery duties, especially if you return early.
· Open to overtime: Understand that not every day will end on schedule.
Working Hours:
44 hours per week, with overtime paid at time and a third after 44 hours.
