About the Role
The Landscape Architect Manager will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of landscaping, monument signage, and amenities for communities developed by Perry Homes. This position involves collaboration with external consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The successful candidate may also have opportunities to contribute to projects in other markets, including Dallas, Central Texas, and Florida.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the selection and coordination of architectural, landscape, and amenity consultants to align with community vision, budget, and timelines.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, tracking milestones, and ensuring successful execution.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to define community branding, theming, and naming strategies that resonate with target buyers and support market success.
- Engage in high-impact special projects and strategic initiatives, providing analytical support and creative solutions as needed.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with professional consultants and contractors.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and planning departments of local municipalities and counties.
- Ability to interpret complex instructions, reports, blueprints, construction plans, and development plans.
