We are actively seeking a Senior Design Project Manager to collaborate with our dedicated team and partners, providing innovative design solutions for both new and existing higher education construction projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust architectural background within the construction sector, with substantial experience in Design, Architecture, and Civil works. *This role requires on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and report to the designated Project Manager(s) or Project Director, engaging frequently with clients, consultants, design professionals, and contractors.
- Assist Project Manager(s) in the effective management, coordination, and administration of projects throughout all design and construction phases.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional client services, addressing all client needs with the utmost professionalism.
- Prepare various project documentation, including reports, schedules, invoices, RFIs, submittals, meeting notes/agendas, daily reports, change orders, inspections, closeout materials, and client presentations, while maintaining accurate information in project management software.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with the project team as directed by the Project Manager(s).
- Communicate conceptual designs clearly and maintain comprehensive project documentation during all project phases.
- Oversee the Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural elements.
- Review and provide input on design RFPs.
- Manage external design consultants through the design and construction processes.
- Effectively convey design standards to both internal and external project partners.
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects concurrently.
- Innovate to find cost-effective solutions during the construction process without compromising quality or reliability.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities as applicable.
