In this field-based role, you will be an integral part of a small, specialized Contract Field Team responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of USAF Noise Suppressors, including Engine Test Cells and Hush Houses. For more information, please visit www.vitallinkinc.com.
We are looking for skilled individuals in various trades, including Electrician, Ironworker, Sheetmetal Worker, Welder (Structural), Carpenter/Millwright, Painter, and entry-level Laborers. Candidates should possess a general knowledge of industrial construction, with experience in steel erection and refurbishment being preferred. The ability to read blueprints is essential. For Journeyman positions, a minimum of five (5) years of experience is required.
Typical projects at VLI involve multiple trades such as structural ironwork, sheet metal work, welding, mechanical/millwright installation, maintenance, electrical work, equipment operation (forklift), rigging and hoisting, corrosion control, and painting. While no employee is expected to cover all trades, versatility is advantageous based on team needs.
We offer reimbursement for travel expenses and per diem. Employees must have reliable transportation for travel within the continental U. S. A background check is required for access to U. S. military and other client installations.
