Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the complete recruitment cycle, aimed at attracting and securing top-tier talent across diverse positions and departments. This position acts as a strategic ally to hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders alike, while contributing to the organization’s workforce objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for designated roles, encompassing job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer extension, and pre-employment processes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend role specifications, team dynamics, and ideal candidate attributes.
- Execute comprehensive phone, video, or in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experiences, and cultural alignment.
- Facilitate and organize interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring efficiency and organization throughout the process.
- Keep precise and current candidate records and requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Deliver a consistently high-quality candidate experience from initial contact to offer acceptance.
- Negotiate and extend job offers in conjunction with HR and hiring managers.
- Develop and sustain a proactive talent pipeline for current and future recruitment needs.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and offer acceptance rates.
- Remain updated on labor market trends, compensation standards, and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and internal hiring policies throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, whether in-house or through an agency.
- Experience in recruiting across various departments and job levels is preferred.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., BambooHR) is advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong grasp of sourcing strategies, including Boolean search and social recruiting.
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for building robust relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and process consistency.
