We are excited to announce an opening for a Data Warehouse Engineer proficient in English, who will join our esteemed team at our Ispra location in Italy. In this role, you will collaborate with our Development team and work alongside a prominent client’s IT team to deliver top-notch data warehouse solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW);
- Collecting business requirements and designing efficient ETL processes;
- Data modeling and architecture;
- Creating and developing reporting applications;
- Performing physical database design and conducting performance analysis;
- Establishing Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes;
- Creating test programs and drafting technical documentation;
- Assisting with the deployment and configuration of systems.
Qualifications:
- University degree in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- At least 1 year of experience with business analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Qlik Sense and/or Power BI);
- Minimum of 1 year working with databases (e.g., Oracle);
- Strong expertise in data warehouse design and architecture;
- Thorough understanding of relational database systems as applied to data warehousing;
- Proficient in SQL;
- Solid experience with business intelligence reporting tools;
- Familiarity with ETL and modeling tools;
- Exceptional command of the English language.
