Position Overview -We are looking for a seasoned professional to take on the role of Head of Manufacturing at our facility in Jejuri, Pune. This pivotal position is responsible for managing all manufacturing operations, including the essential processes of welding, fabrication, painting, and assembly of cranes and components.Your Responsibilities -Safety Leadership:Champion safety standards across the shop floor and actively contribute to the safety committee.Develop and maintain an audit system for shop floor and machinery safety, promptly addressing safety non-compliances.Engage in worker welfare and development initiatives.Implement 5-S methodology and drive continuous improvement activities.Manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols in accordance with Konecranes' global standards.Foster HSE awareness among team members and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.Maintenance Management:Oversee the Autonomous Maintenance schedule and coordinate with the maintenance team.Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, including CNC Messer Plasma Cutting, radial drilling machines, and various welding machines.Legal Compliance:Ensure compliance with welfare, working hours, and safety regulations as per the factories act.Manufacturing Operations:Plan manufacturing activities in alignment with production schedules to achieve company sales goals.Analyze bottleneck operations and implement process streamlining measures.Lead productivity improvement initiatives and establish quality control measures for all operations.Monitor manufacturing costs and ensure timely material availability from stores.Review and enhance the performance of the manufacturing team and utility equipment.Leadership and Strategy:Guide make-or-buy decisions that align with organizational strategy.
