Role Overview: Mechanical Construction Manager (Embedded) This position is based onsite in Kansas City, MO or North Kansas City, MO, working directly with a confidential industrial client. The Mechanical Construction Manager joins a larger construction management team and focuses on overseeing mechanical construction activities within the facility. The role is embedded on the client side and requires a strong background in mechanical systems and industrial construction management. What You Will Do Coordinate and manage mechanical construction activities within the plant, reporting to senior construction leadership. Ensure contractors’ work on mechanical scopes meets project plans, schedules, and quality requirements. Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, collaborating with electrical and other discipline leads. Work with project stakeholders to align activities with project objectives, specifications, and safety standards. Support development and execution of construction schedules, particularly for plant shutdowns and product line downtimes. Track progress on assigned scopes, identify risks or issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
