Are you technically inclined and seeking a role that offers greater challenges, variety, and responsibility? If so, this position may be perfect for you! At Applus+, you will receive training from day one to become a Leak Testing Operator.
Your workweek will vary significantly; sometimes you may receive different assignments daily, while other weeks could have you stationed at a single location, possibly requiring overnight stays in a hotel. No two weeks are the same, which adds to the excitement!
Your responsibilities include:
Managing work permits;
Setting up and verifying where your equipment should be connected to the installation;
Conducting reference measurements to ensure the investigation is operational;
Checking the system for leaks (conducting the investigation itself);
Consulting with clients on potential next steps if a leak is detected;
Creating and submitting a report detailing your findings.
The leak testing operations are primarily learned 'on the job.' Through training and a personalized development plan, you will be equipped to conduct investigations independently. With support from your mentor, project leader, and experienced colleagues, you will identify which courses and training are best suited to your growth.
Once your onboarding is complete, you will enjoy versatile assignments and the freedom to manage your tasks.
