Job Summary: Creative Chaos is on the lookout for a dynamic Head of Product to spearhead our product strategy, technical execution, and client engagement efforts in the fintech arena. This role is a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, emphasizing stakeholder success through understanding client needs, facilitating implementations, and driving revenue growth. You will also play a pivotal role in internal product leadership, influencing product roadmaps and ensuring alignment within engineering teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Execution
- Oversee the complete product development lifecycle for:
- Mass Transit Tap-and-Pay systems (contactless, NFC, QR, card acquiring)
- Telco Credit Top-Up / Airtime Distribution systems (multi-operator, agent-based, real-time)
- Digital Wallet and Payment Integration (API orchestration, reconciliation, compliance)
- Define, refine, and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Transform market insights and client feedback into actionable technical specifications and execution strategies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly products.
Client Engagement & Business Alignment
- Serve as a product partner for key clients, including telcos, banks, and transit authorities.
- Lead the requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation oversight for enterprise clients.
- Act as the Engagement Manager from onboarding to live operations.
- Work alongside the sales team to craft compelling client proposals and commercial offerings.
- Ensure product development aligns with revenue, retention, and market expansion objectives.
Technical Depth
- Manage the product-technical interface, collaborating with engineering leads on architecture decisions, scalability, API orchestration, and backend/platform roadmaps.
- Engage in design reviews, sprint planning, and quality assurance cycles for critical components.
- Demonstrate knowledge of protocols across telco APIs, payment rails (EMV, ISO8583), SIM/USSD channels, and digital identity frameworks.
