Whether it's responding to an individual patient’s request for their medical records or facilitating the AI revolution in healthcare, our team at Datavant is committed to shaping the future of health data connectivity and utilization.Position Highlights:Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM ESTLocation: This role will be performed at one location (La Grange IL 60525)Thrives in a high-volume production environment.Process medical record requests through calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys.Document information across multiple platforms using dual computer monitors.Comprehensive benefits package: PTO, Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, 401k Savings Plan, and Tuition Assistance.Your Responsibilities:Receive and process patient health information requests in line with company and facility policies.Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.Maintain proficiency in company and facility software.Follow the Code of Conduct and policies of the company and customer facilities.Communicate with management regarding work challenges and fluctuating volumes.Assist with additional duties as required.Consistently apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.Manage patient health records efficiently.Safeguard patient records and maintain HIPAA compliance.Prepare new patient charts by gathering documents from paper and electronic sources.Ensure medical records are accurately assembled and complete.Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records storage.Respond to internal and external requests for patient records, retrieving and transmitting them appropriately.
