Description:We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Architect to design, implement, and support our data warehousing solutions within a Teradata database environment. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities including database planning, development, administration, and maintenance/ETL of the MDARD data warehouse. The position allows for flexibility in work arrangements, with options for either Webcam or In-Person interactions.Years of Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Teradata physical modeling and indexing techniques is required.Job Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will leverage their experience to independently execute a variety of complex tasks, exhibiting a high degree of creativity and autonomy.Design, implement, and support data warehousing solutions. Develop business rules through stored procedures and middleware, while defining user interfaces and functional specifications.Ensure data accuracy and perform maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Demonstrate knowledge of end-to-end data warehouse implementation processes, including logical modeling, physical database design, ETL, and performance tuning.Exhibit strong problem-resolution skills and lead implementation teams. Experience in both relational and dimensional data modeling, as well as the development and maintenance of multi-dimensional models is essential.Possess expertise in SQL and database tuning techniques. Responsible for ongoing architecture and design of the data warehouse, data mart, and reporting environments.Formulate strategies for flexibility and scalability, defining the future technical architecture direction for business intelligence reporting environments.Select appropriate hardware, software, tools, and lifecycle techniques for various components of the data warehouse architecture.Document the technical architecture of the data warehouse, ensuring compliance with industry standards and alignment with broader IT strategies.
