This team designs, builds, and maintains test equipment used in development and aftermarket engine programs for leading engine manufacturers. The position involves direct work with engine assemblies and subcomponents, emphasizing both design and hands-on manufacturing. Key responsibilities Design and manufacture final assemblies and subcomponents for engine test equipment. Develop manufacturing processes and tooling for composite part fabrication, using approved models and drawings. Support ongoing production, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and drive process improvements to meet quality and efficiency targets within three- to six-month build schedules. Assess and repair assemblies or components damaged during customer use, ensuring they meet standards for return to service. Additional tasks Create detailed written and illustrated manufacturing instructions, bills of material, and specifications for outside purchases, all based on engineering documentation. Refine manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and product quality. This role centers on engine design and operations, with a mix of technical problem-solving and hands-on assembly work. The Ground Test Manufacturing Engineer will contribute to both new builds and ongoing support for engine test systems.
