Role Overview
We are in search of a detail-oriented Case Manager to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, assisting attorneys in crafting settlements, and preparing necessary documentation and correspondence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and empathy towards clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage daily with existing and prospective clients through phone calls and in-person meetings.
- Request medical records from healthcare providers and maintain communication with clients and providers throughout the treatment process.
- Gather essential documents to substantiate injury and liability claims.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to obtain records and resolve account balances.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and work to reduce outstanding medical bills with providers.
- Collaborate closely with team members involved in case management and support.
- Ensure organization and maintenance of case files.
- Prepare detailed demands and compile supporting documentation for submission to carriers.
- Present case summaries to attorneys when necessary.
- Oversee case files from initial intake through to closure under an attorney's supervision.
