Role Overview: Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper
The Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper will collaborate with the accounting team to provide outstanding service to clients. Reporting to the Accounts Team Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client bookkeeping, data entry, and bank statement reconciliation using both manual and automated processes.
- Reconciling bank records and collaborating with accountants to ensure accurate client record sign-off on a daily or monthly basis.
- Assisting in the preparation of various financial reports, including wealth reports, performance analysis, management accounts, and expenditure reports tailored to client needs.
- Conducting general administrative tasks related to client accounts, including cash flow analysis, payment processing, and maintaining organized filing systems.
Candidate Profile: About You
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an accounting firm, financial services, or related sectors.
- You will possess proven skills in bookkeeping, accounting, or investment administration, alongside strong communication and time management abilities.
- AAT or a comparable qualification is desirable but not essential.
