Advance Your Career.The MEP team at AECOM is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our expanding group.As part of our collaborative, multidisciplinary organization, you will work alongside over 600 professionals in fields such as Building Engineering (MEP, Civil and Structural), Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Transportation, Water, Energy, and Environmental Consultancy.Our Building Services projects cover various sectors, including Defence, Healthcare, Education, Science, Industrial, Commercial, and Client Advisory, across the UK and internationally.Your Responsibilities:Create electrical building services engineering designs from initial concepts to construction documentation and on-site supervision.Deliver projects within established design, schedule, and budget parameters.Design for a diverse array of buildings across sectors such as education, healthcare, offices, leisure, government, and industrial facilities.Develop technical specifications, reports, and drawings.Represent AECOM in meetings with clients and contractors.Conduct site surveys and inspections as necessary.Advocate for sustainable design practices wherever applicable.Carry out design quality reviews and audits as required.Maintain project records and archives according to company standards.Support the professional development of staff to enhance AECOM's standards, expertise, and reputation.Encourage and facilitate collaboration with other disciplines, including Architecture, Building Surveying, and Civil and Structural Engineering.Stay informed about emerging legislation and engineering standards related to electrical building services and ensure compliance.Engage in the design change control process and assess cost and time implications as assigned.Align with quality, safety, and environmental objectives while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Assist in the preparation of fee estimates and project bids.Join Us for Growth:At AECOM, we provide a comprehensive range of core and personalized benefits tailored to support your well-being and future.
