Your role will encompass information storage and retrieval, data flow analysis, and the creation of relational and Object-Oriented databases. You will project long-term requirements for database administration and design, ensuring the database structure aligns with the overarching architecture of the system in development. Your responsibilities will include making informed decisions regarding data volumes, user load, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention protocols, security measures, and domain controls. The position primarily involves working through the project lifecycle, from the initial requirements phase to system acceptance testing and achieving Initial Operational Capability (IOC). You will be instrumental in developing project requirements within specific business and IT domains, ranging from straightforward to complex systems. Moreover, you will provide insights and recommendations for system enhancements, optimization, and maintenance efforts. Your role will also include translating project requirements into effective documentation by crafting ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updating existing data queries; and building intricate systems utilizing Open Database Connectivity and cloud-based storage and retrieval methodologies.Due to federal contract obligations, U.S. Citizenship and an appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI with a suitable polygraph) are required for this position.

You will be accountable for the technical integrity, quality, and thoroughness of deliverables across one or more of the 25 process areas outlined by ISO/IEC 15288:Technical Process Areas: Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal;Project Process Areas: Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement;Enterprise Process Areas: Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management;Agreement Process Area: Acquisition and Supply. **This position requires PRIVAC clearance.
