Additional responsibilities will be assigned at the higher level.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and support multiple technical projects with frequently changing requirements and priorities, ensuring adherence to schedules and documentation requirements.Assist in the acquisition and fabrication of general electronics instrumentation, hardware, and mechanical equipment for the Superblock (SBK) and other Nuclear Material Engineering areas.Collaborate with designers, technicians, machinists, engineers, and vendors on moderately complex projects, ensuring that technical requirements are understood and met, even when dealing with hazardous or classified materials.Process internal fabrication packages through LLNL fabrication facilities, monitoring status and coordinating with fabrication shops and requesters.Review engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to verify part sources, technical requirements, and support material selection.Evaluate vendor proposals for fabrication processes, pricing, and delivery schedules, providing feedback to project leads.Maintain accurate records and systems documentation for procurement status, fabrication progress, equipment maintenance, and experimental data as required.Provide Technical Release Representative (TRR) services with a comprehensive understanding of purchasing requirements and LLNL business practices.Coordinate maintenance for programmatic equipment, including tracking vendor maintenance subcontracts and scheduling services.
