This pivotal role will provide technical direction across monitoring, compliance, and data protection initiatives, guaranteeing robust oversight, control, and governance of enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Microsoft Purview, Azure monitoring tools, and data security frameworks, along with the skills to effectively advise stakeholders and navigate complex, dynamic environments.Key Responsibilities:Lead the discovery, definition, and execution of monitoring capabilities within Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystems.Design and implement Microsoft Purview solutions, including data cataloguing, data lineage tracking, and data loss prevention mechanisms.Configure and manage various monitoring tools such as Capacity Metrics, Monitoring Hub, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Sentinel, Insight Manager, and Fabric Unified Admin Monitoring.Offer technical guidance and advisory support on best practices for monitoring, compliance, and governance.Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify monitoring requirements and ensure solutions align with business and regulatory frameworks.Create and maintain detailed design documents, standard operating procedures, and user manuals.Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for operational and technical teams.Implement effective data security practices, including classification, sensitivity labeling, and data loss prevention strategies.Support ongoing operational monitoring and the continuous enhancement of monitoring frameworks.Utilize advanced monitoring techniques, including workspace monitoring as necessary.Thrive in ambiguous environments to define solutions and drive results.Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to convey solutions and progress effectively.
